Mr. Chasan has been litigating cases his entire professional career - including numerous complex patent infringement litigation matters since joining Caesar Rivise in 2001. A former Associate Solicitor in the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Chasan is also a former trial attorney in the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. and a former Assistant U.S. Attorney in Philadelphia. He has extensive litigation experience in state and federal courts, particularly in matters involving jury trials. Mr. Chasan is a registered patent attorney and is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Intellectual Property Law Association. Mr. Chasan is a member of the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court and the Courts of Appeals for the Federal, District of Columbia, First, Third, Fourth and Ninth Circuits. Mr. Chasan's practice focuses on representation of generic drug manufacturers in pharmaceutical patent cases.
