Dr. Fried has practiced Intellectual Property Law for over 20 years. His practice focuses on litigating generic drug patent infringement cases and prosecuting patents in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and chemical fields. Dr. Fried received his Ph.D. in molecular biophysics from Yale University in 1967, in part for research on the purification of bacterial genes. Subsequently, he did research for 11 years, primarily at the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg, where he worked on the transcription of SV40 DNA and its integration into mammalian cells. Dr. Fried obtained his law degree from Temple University. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
